Victoria has recorded no new coronavirus cases locally or in hotel quarantine on Tuesday, as the state gears up for a New Year’s Eve like no other.

Just seven active cases of COVID-19 remain across the state, all of them in hotel isolation or self-quarantine at home.

It is the 60th straight day without local transmission of the virus across the state.

There were 6899 COVID-19 test results received in Victoria across Monday. No additional deaths from the virus were reported.

More to come.
